Gedion is a 48-year-old married man with six children living in Kasese, Uganda. After realizing from his own experience that many farmers had challenges accessing farm supplies, he decided to deal in agro chemicals and has been in business for seven years. The seasonality of his business is a major hindrance to achieving his vision, while his dream is to diversify and venture into extensive sorghum, maize and tomato crops which have a ready market. Gedion intends to use the loan to buy maize, tomato and sorghum seeds for planting.
