Melitona is 40 years old and has four children, two of whom are in school. For the past eight years, she has been a vegetable farmer. She has borrowed 11 previous loans from Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. to sustain her business.
Melitona is requesting a 45,000 PHP loan through NWTF to buy fertilizer, seedlings, and other farm supplies. In the future, she would like to save enough money to expand her business.

Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
