Umwete Group's story

Bonaventure is a member of the Umwete Group and is one of the victims of the fire at the central market in Bujumbura. He has been a client of Turame for the past three years. He lives in Bujumbura and is married to Bernadette. Together they have four children aged five to 13 years old, all of whom are studying.

Bonaventure ran a small shop (selling sugar, shoes, etc.) at the central market in Bujumbura. He lost goods worth 800,000 FBU ($ 512.82) in the fire.
