Maria Elena
View original language description ↓
Maria Elena has been working with Fundacion 2000 since 2005. She is married and has two grown-up children who no longer need her support. Her first loan of 3000 cordobas was used to purchase cosmetics and clothing.
The loans that she has received in the past have resulted in better living conditions for Maria Elena and her husband: they were able to fix-up their home and to purchase home appliances.

This time Maria Elena is requesting a loan of $375 dollars (7,000 cordobas) to use as working capital.
Her living conditions and payback guarantees have improved, as her husband also works repairing watches and both contribute to the household expenses.
