A loan of $1,000 helped to make a downpayment on a house, as currently he is renting.

Moisés Salomón's story

Moisés is 25 years old, married and has a son. He has been a barber for some 10 years. Before, he worked carrying bundles of merchandise to the women who sell in the market. Facing the place where he passed was a barbershop, and when he had nothing to do, he began to sit there to see how they worked at the barbershop. One day one of the workers asked him if he wanted to learn and that was how he learned. Also he saw they that they earned good money, and he earned little and worked a lot. He is applying to Fundación Campo for a loan to make a down payment on a house, as he is currently renting. He wants to take advantage of this opportunity, as having his own house has been one of his greatest dreams since he was a child. His father abandoned them and he has always had to rent. In addition he wants to send his son to school, as he didn't have that opportunity due to his mother's poverty.
