Panqaritas 25 De Julio Group's story

The "Panqaritas 25 de Julio" loan group will be starting its fourth loan cycle with Kiva partner Pro Mujer through the center in Senkata. It consists of nine members and includes a board of directors with Elsa as president. The businesses that the members carry out are varied, among which are: selling clothes, selling tights and blankets, running a neighborhood store, farming, weaving blankets, selling detergents, selling clothes, selling flowers, making blankets out of llama skin. The loan will help these small businesses, including Elsa's. She has belonged to Pro Mujer for two years, joining after one of the institution's promoters visited her home and extended an invitation. She makes a living selling clothes, a business she started 15 years ago after noticing how well the products sell. She plans to use the loan to purchase clothes from wholesale venders in La Paz and later sell the products at her post. In this way Elsa will generate income for her family, since she and her partner have six children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, Elsa said she enjoys the training in credit and health.

In this group: Elsa , Nely , Susana , Veronica, Beatriz, Saturnina, Adela, Jhovana Julieta, Eugenia
