A loan of $1,500 helped to buy cyclone fencing, to mulch grass for cattle feed and to buy 10 quintals of feed concentrate fore the dry season.

Lucio's story

Lucio, 68, is married and has two children. He’s been a farmer since he was very little; his father taught him. He buys his farm supplies in the nearest town which is 11 kilometers from home; this makes transporting the supplies a bit difficult.

The loan he’s requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy cyclone metal fencing mesh to secure his home, to mulch grass to feed the two cows he owns and to buy ten quintals of feed concentrate for the dry season since buying at wholesale means a better price. His wish is to improve more every day, to provide security for his family and also to sell agricultural products like corn, beans, milk and cheese in order to earn improved income.
