Dorothy's story

Dorothy is a 40-year-old lady from Migori, married to Joe. They have no children, but support 10 people from their extended family.

She sells vegetables and dried fish. She has had this business for the past six years with an monthly income of KES 11,000.

She is now borrowing her second loan of KES 45,000 from KADET LTD, which she wants to use to expand her business by buying more sacks of vegetables and dried fish. She will use her profits to repay the loan and add stock to her business.

Her dream is to buy a plot and build her own home.
