Vidole Group's story

VIDOLE is a group of three people who all live in the same neighborhood.

Adjowa (whose hand is raised in the photo) is the group's representative. She is 45 years old and married to a driver named Jean. Adjowa and Jean have four children, all of whom attend school and live in their care. Adjowa lives with her husband and children. Both she and her husband cover the various household expenses.

Adjowa has been selling food (beans and bread) door to door for about eighteen years now, in order to cover the various household expenses. She buys her products at a market in Benin. This is the fifth time that Adjowa and the other members of the VIDOLE group have sought the financial support of ALIDé with a view to increasing their working capital and strengthening their business in order to better meet the demands of their customers.
