Zuhra's story

Ms. Zuhra is a 37-year-old lady. She is very talented and excels in the work of stitching. She has gotten a lot of appreciation from her community, so she decided to initiate her own business to contribute to the family income, as her husband’s income is nominal and not enough to cover family expenditures. Zuhra very well knows the techniques of stitching, and her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns enough to lead a decent life. To help her continue operations of her business, she requested a loan of 25,000 PKR (Pakistan rupees) to buy stock of threads in different colors with packs of zippers and buttons to meet the increasing demand. In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
