Kutakurana Group's story

This is 47 year old Elizabeth from Murehwa, a village 75 km northeast from the capital city Harare. She is married with five children, three attending school. Elizabeth runs a retail business selling groceries. The business has been in operation for two years. She says the main challenges faced are stiff competition from other traders. Elizabeth has requested for a loan of $300 to increase her stocks. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her improve the family's general welfare. In the future, Elizabeth plans to operate a large supermarket.
