Patricia is 32 years of age, married and with one kid who attends school, which is the reason for her hard work. She owns a house that has electricity but not piped water.
Patricia has operated a restaurant and pub business from home for the past four years, selling to passers-by and neighbours. She cited seasonality and theft as the main challenges to her business.
With the Kshs 50,000 she wants to purchase stocks of goods such as wheat flour, rice and drinks for her restaurant business. Her dream is to see her child get better education and become an important person in society.
