A loan of $1,000 helped to pay for fabric, thread and other materials as well as herbal products and frozen foods needed in her business.

Delia's story

This is Delia. Her previous loan was a big help in her business. She was able to buy all the materials needed in her tailoring business and she was able to generate more income. Aside from her tailoring business, she also sells frozen foods and herbal products. She and her husband are working hard to provide income for their everyday needs.

She would like to apply for another 40,000 PHP loan for her to buy additional supplies of materials like fabric, thread and other materials needed in her business. She will also use the loan to buy more herbal products and frozen foods. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain their daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Delia hopes that her business will continue to grow and dreams that her children will have their own business. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week and draw strength and inspiration from the word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
