Phelister is a married woman with three children, all of whom attend school. She lives in a rental house that has electricity but no piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past two years, she has operated a food stall business, selling from home to her neighbors and passersby. Her potential customers are neighbors, pupils and passersby. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. Phelister dreams of establishing a restaurant business in the future.
With the loan that she is requesting, she wants to purchase stock of wheat flour, maize flour and beans. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to grow her business.
