A loan of $600 helped to buy livestock.

Gregorio's story

Gregorio is 60 years old and lives with his family, which includes his wife and ten children. They all help plant corn and it’s a very united family. He is a person very well-known within the zone; he’s very friendly and respectful of others. He sells animals, buys and sells them and also raises sugarcane and does grinding and extracts sugar. His father taught him how to grind and he continues to work in this field. He buys his supplies in the nearby town, four kilometers from his home. At the same time he buys supplies and food for his home and the animals he resells. Transporting the supplies and animals is very difficult because he must walk eight kilometers to reach his destination.

He is asking for this loan through Fundación Campo to start a small business buying and selling livestock and pigs. The planning season is approaching and he wants to work so that he can have money to plant corn and beans.

He expects to have good results with his business and good quality of corn. In this way her can have a better income for his family.
