A loan of $275 helped to purchase another buffalo in milk to inflate her sales.

Mariyam's story

Ms. Mariyam is a 31-year-old married woman. For the past five years, she has been successfully running a milk shop at her home, where she sells milk to the people of her community.

Over time, Mariyam has become famous in her area for providing good quality milk. She counts a good client list and makes enough to contribute to her family's income. Mariyam's husband is employed in a textile mill, but his income is not sufficient to meet the needs of the family.

Mariyam has some savings, and she is requesting a 25,000 PKR loan through the Kashf Foundation to purchase another buffalo in milk to inflate her sales. She expects a boost in her earnings and plans to spend her profits on expanding her business.
