A loan of $2,250 helped a member to buy pigs.

Chielias Group's story

Lilian is a 27-year-old single mother who completed four years of 'educación primaria' (education for children aged 7-14). She has three children, two of whom are currently in school. Lilian's business is buying, raising and selling pigs. She started out helping her mom to raise pigs that she had bought. She currently has seven years experience in her field.

Lilian formed this group to request a loan to buy more piglets and concentrated pig feed. In the future, she would like to work more productively and make more profits. The other members of this group raise farmyard animals and work in commerce.
