A loan of $375 helped to buy increased stock of plastic materials and kitchen sets.

Margaret's story

Married with four children, Margaret is thirty-eight-years-old. She sells home products like cooking utensils, plastic bowls, buckets and plates. She makes her sales by ‘hawking,’ which means door to door sales.

Margaret is an achiever and her focus is to save enough to build a shop to house her goods. She wants to use the loan to buy an increased stock of plastic materials and kitchen sets to serve her customers.

She is a member of the community group called St. Benedict Trust Group. In this group members assist one another to provide support in handling repayment of loans. Margaret is in the photograph, taken during her group meeting.
