A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase groceries to sell.

Ai's story

Ai is 61 years old. She is widowed and resides with five children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice and selling groceries for more than 10 years, earning approximately $7 daily. Three of her children are employed in the garment factory. They earn about $15 each day. In order to improve her livelihood, Ai is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase groceries for resale. This money will help her increase her stock and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn a higher education.
