A loan of $325 helped to buy lobsters, shrimp and fish.

Carlos Alberto's story

Carlos is from a tourist area in the city of San Rafael del Sur. Most of the locals there are engaged in small-scale fishing. Carlos learned to fish when he was very young and, since then, it has been a source of work for him.

Carlos and his wife both work hard. In addition to the fish selling, they also have a grocery store business where they sell basic grains, vegetables, drinks, meat, etc. Their business has improved, as has the demand for their goods. They need a loan to meet their customers' demands.

Carlos sells his fish door to door. He also sells from his sales location.

Carlos is an honest, entrepreneurial person who is capable of making the most of opportunities that present themselves in his commercial activities.

Carlos is married and has four school-aged children.
