A loan of $2,550 helped to buy clothes for women for resale.

Firangiz's story

Firangiz is 49 years old, married and has three children, a 11-year-old, a 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. Her son goes to school. Her son wants to become a firefighter.

Firangiz has been an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Fuzuli city. Now she lives in the Fuzuli region, which is close to the occupied border. This is Firangiz's second loan from Kiva. She is very thankful to Komak and Kiva for her first loan. She started her business 9 years ago as a clothes-selling business. Now she needs a 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to buy clothes for women and resell them in her shop.

Firangiz wants to use the money from her new business to help her family. In the future, she wants to have her own store, not rent a store as she does now. This will be more profitable for her business. Firangiz is thankful to Komak and Kiva for supporting her again.
