Ms Nusrat is a 57-year-old married woman. She has been manufacturing foot pumice or graters for many years at home which are used for foot cleansing. She makes them with fine mud and sells them to the people of her community. Over time she has gained a regular list of customers and makes enough to contribute to the family's income. She is a mother of six and is motivated to provide for her family.

To cope with the increasing demand of her customers, she requested a loan of PKR 40,000 to purchase a stock of good quality mud and scrub powder to inflate her sales. She hopes to get a boost in her earnings through her large sales. She is in her 5th loan cycle and has shown excellent repayment behavior. She wishes to utilize part of her revenues to provide good and quality education to her children.
