Murvat's story

Murvat is 54 years old, married and the father of three children who range in age from 21 to 26 years old. His two daughters are married and have children and his son in the army, where he hopes to have a career. His wife stays at home, so he is the only one making an income for the family. He lives in the Fuzuli region, which is close to the occupied border. He is applying for his second loan from Kiva to buy fruits and vegetables to sell. He will use the 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to buy potatoes, onions and cabbage to sell at local bazaars. He will use the additional income he earns from this loan to better care for his family. In the future, Murvat wants to have his own store in the bazaar and buy a car to transport vegetables and fruits. These changes will make his business more profitable. Murvat is thankful to Komak and Kiva for their support.
