Asem's story

Asem is a 26-year-old married man who lives in Sana`a, Yemen. He has completed secondary school only, and describes himself as intelligent and determined with his business.

He operates a phone accessories business where he sells mobile phones, covers for mobile phones, chargers, and recharge phone cards, etc. Asem started his business with a small amount provided by his father. His business is located in a competitive area, and his primary customers are local residents. He describes his business challenge to be insufficient funds to improve his business.

Asem requested a youth loan of 300,000 YER from AMB to purchase more items such as chargers, recharge phone cards, and covers for mobile phones to sell.

Asem's business goal is to run his business well, and hopefully to improve it.
