A loan of $1,175 helped to buy buckets of oil for the maintenance of her cars.

Margarita's story

Margarita, 37 years old, is married and has two children who she cares for in the house she bought eight years ago. A little while ago, she closed her shop where she provided telephone service and hopes to be able to resume this project. With time, she managed to save a considerable amount of money thanks to her husband who works in a car company as a mechanic. With him, they bought two cars which they rent for public transport. On a daily basis, they are paid S. 30 for the service. This business helps her a lot with the bills above all, since they don't need a lot of maintenance since her husband is knowledgeable on the subject. He maintains the cars in perfect condition changing the oil and reviewing them constantly. "Thanks to his good maintenance they can work without problems for public transport," she says. Now, she hopes to put together the money necessary to reopen her first business where Margarita is sure she will have a lot of success. She will invest S. 3000 in the purchase of buckets of oil for the maintenance of the cars she owns. Also, she promises to pay her installments punctually.
