Rema Group's story

Séraphine is a member of the Rema group and lives in Bujumbura. She is 32 years old and married to Déo, an officer from the Burundi Tax Office. They have 4 children together, aged between 6 and 10, and all of whom study.
She also has in her care 2 schoolchildren who are members of her extended family.

She has sold clothing for a living for 12 years. She is on her third loan with Turame. With the Kiva loan that she is seeking, she aims to boost her capital to purchase a lot of clothes for re-sale, in order to generate higher revenues.

In the coming years, she would like to become a wholesale trader of clothing and would like to see her children studying and completing their studies.
