A loan of $675 helped to purchase goods (flour, rice, fish, peanuts, etc.) in order to stock up with merchandise.

Alice's story

Alice is married and has two children who attend school. She lives in a house that she owns and doesn't support anyone else. She's a merchant who sells foodstuffs. With the current loan she intends to purchase goods (flour, rice, fish, peanuts, etc.) in order to stock up with merchandise. Her wish for the future is to expand her business and to keep on remodeling her house. For that reason she pledges to repay the loan as scheduled, so she can request more loans from Hluvuku. The challenge she faces is not having enough funds to continue remodeling her house.
