A loan of $1,000 helped to buy stocks of grains.

Yamoussa's story

Yamoussa was born around 1967 in Ouayere, in the commune of Farakala. He is married and the father of five children. He lives with his two wives and his children in his own house in Hamdallaye, one of the working class neighborhoods of the city of Sikasso (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

Not having had the opportunity to go to school, Yamoussa initially got involved in several unsuccessful activities, but he quickly learned to do business, storing and selling grains in particular. He has now been working in this field for seven years. His vast experience in this domain has earned him a good reputation and he receives many orders. However, he does not have the necessary resources to meet his needs.

Yamoussa has therefore decided to join the loan program offered by Soro Yiriwaso, and he is requesting his second loan. This loan will help him to increase his business in order to better meet his customers' expectations. He plans to use this loan to buy 25 bags of millet, 35 bags of maize and 25 bags of rice.

Thanks to this loan, Yamoussa is expecting monthly profits to reach 180,000 CFA francs. He plans to use his profits to take care of most of his personal and family expenses, to pay off his loan interest and to invest in his main business.
