A loan of $750 helped to buy seeds for her plantation.

Khem's story

Khem, age 59, living in a rural village of the Bovel district has four children. She and her husband are farmers who grow cassava, maize and sesame in the area to make a living. She has been in this business for ten years. She can earn from her current business about $12.00 to support her family. This is the second micro loan for Khem with VisionFund. The past loan that she completely repaid has helped her relieve financial burdens and improve her livelihood. Now requesting a loan, Khem wants to use her portion to buy seeds for her plantation and use a portion of it to spend on labor costs. Khem hopes this loan will enable her to get a high yield from her crop plantation so as to make her daily living better.
