A loan of $4,900 helped to purchase farming equipment.

Arkadiy's story

Arkadiy is a farmer. Since 1989, he has been earning a living by growing carrots, cabbages, watermelons, melons, beets, and garlic. He is helped with the farm work by his wife and 2 children, who are 18 and 20 years old. He began his business by growing onions in an open field, but later he decided to buy plastic covering to protect his crop from the wind and cold, and to purchase drip tape for irrigation. His future business plans include getting refrigeration equipment to cool and store his ripened produce, and his personal plans involve completing construction on the family house. Arkadiy needs your assistance to finance his purchase of plastic covering and drip tape.
