Mouin is a 46 year old Lebanese man. He’s married to Nabila, a very kind woman. They have four children attending school. Mouin is a great man who loves his family and really cares to offer them a respectable life. He works nonstop, on his own, to be able to cover their expenses. He had been working as a carpenter for more than 10 years until he decided to open his own carpentry business in 2011. He’s an honest man and above all punctual, which make his customers loyal to him. Today, he’s asking for a loan from Kiva Partner Vitas s.a.l to purchase an electrical generator. This Kiva loan will facilitate his business operations and improve it as well. He’s doing his best to collect higher revenues and teach his children at high level schools to help them live a very comfortable life away from hard work.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
