A loan of $375 helped to pay for more stock of frozen foods like hot dogs, tocino, ham and other products needed in her business.

Evangeline's story

This is Evangeline. She previously accessed an 15,000 PHP loan that she used to buy more quantities of products like meat, rice, vegetables, condiments and seasonings. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in their personal, household and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 15,000 PHP loan in order to purchase more stock of frozen foods like hot dogs, tocino (salt-cured pork), ham and other products. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain the daily needs and educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Evangeline dreams of having her own stall and hopes that her children will finish their studies. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week and also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
