Esperanza Del Socorro's story

Esperanza del Socorro is a widow with eight children. She has had a business selling home appliances in the department of León for sixteen years. She starts work at 10am and finishes at 4pm, visiting her clients. This business sustains her family. She started her business with 5,000 Nicaraguan córdobas in working capital, which resulted from loans.

Esperanza del Socorro is applying for this loan to buy umbrellas and fans in order to take advantage of the Holy Week season. This will allow her to obtain better earnings.

She does this work in order to increase her income, thus improving her quality of life and that of her family.
