A loan of $675 helped to buy toys and candy.

Grima Lucia's story

Sra. Grima lives in Quevedo, Ecuador. She is 39 years old. Grima began selling caramels outside of a school. With the money she earned, she later bought toys because she thought it would bring in more income. She sells toys by herself from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

The difficulty she faces in her business is having to leave her children alone because it can be very dangerous. Grima is a widow and has four children (ages 3, 6, 9, and 16).

She will use this loan to buy merchandise such as toy dolls, plastic cars, candy, and other items. Grima wants to grow her business and provide her children an education and a better standard of living.
