Juan Carlos's story

Juan Carlos is 34 years old, married, has three children, and lives with his family in the city of Choloma in the department of Cortes. He has a grocery store that he established with his wife four years ago with the purpose of having his own business and mproving the life of his family. In the store which is located in his house, he sells products such as flour, rice, beans, butter, corn flour, dairy, etc.

Juan Carlos has succeeded in maintaining his business with the financing that ODEF has given him. Currently, he is applying for his 9th loan of 22,000 lempiras (currency in Honduras) to invest in the purchase of food products such as basic grains, dairy, lunch meats, etc. that will improve his income and increase the variety of products that he offers.

Juan Carlos hopes to continue working with ODEF and to maintain a well-stocked store in order to have the income to facilitate the well-being of his family and above all, the education of his children.
