A loan of $200 helped to buy chicks and piglets.

Ngwa's story

He is married with eight children and they all live in a five-bedroom house in Bafut Mezam Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. He has faced many challenges in life, among which are sickness in his family, the death of his father, and theft. He was poisoned by his brother and it led to an operation.

With the new loan requested, he will buy piglets, chicks, and food for the chicks and piglets. He holds a positive view of his business succeeding. He will buy good species and also a good mixture of feed for their upbringing. He has people who will buy the animals for resale and also there are many farmers in the locality who will buy the droppings from the piglets and chicks. From this activity the community will buy piglets for resale and the droppings from the animals will serve as manure for farms which will increase fertility of the soil and also output.

The profit from the loan will be used for expansion of the business and repayment of empowerment credit. He prefers GHAPE loans because of moderate interest rates and convenient repayment intervals.
