A loan of $1,500 helped a member to buy feed and chicks.

Knowe Favour Group's story

This is 33-year-old Lemmy from Harare. He is single, but looks after his two brothers and one sister. Lemmy is in the poultry business, selling chickens. The business has been in operation for 5 years. He says the main challenges that he faces are that normally the chicks are affected with bird flu and weather. Also, if the chicks are not properly bred, they die. Lemmy has requested a loan of $500 to purchase more chicks and stock feed. He says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will enable him to send his brothers and sister to school and college. In the future, Lemmy plans to have a butchery in Norton.
