A loan of $425 helped to buy auto spare parts.

Ozodjon's story

Ozodjon lives in a village located not far from an urban center. He works in his village, repairing passenger cars. He does not have any specialized education, but learned his trade from an instructor who happened to be a neighbor. Ozodjon has always had an interest in cars: in the beginning, he just helped his neighbor, but then he was drawn into the business. He has been working with his neighbor/instructor for many years. The two of them rented a commercial space to fix passenger cars. Ozodjon already has his own apprentices and he is happy to teach them his trade. In the future, he is planning to open his own shop, where he would provide all car repair services. Ozodjon is married and has a family. His wife is not employed, she takes care of the children. Ozodjon's friends advised him to take a loan with the microfinance institution Arvand, in order to buy auto spare parts. Ozodjon plans to use his loan to buy everything that he needs for his work. He is very glad that institutions such as MDO Arvand are here to help people during difficult times.
