Madame Aminata est née en 1966 à Niena où elle vit dans une famille traditionnelle avec son époux (troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Elle mène des activités d’achat et de vente de céréales depuis une dizaine d’année. Son expérience dans ce domaine, lui a valu une bonne réputation et reçoit des commandes de divers clients. Ainsi pour avoir les ressources nécessaires afin de satisfaire ses clients, elle décida de collaborer avec l’Institution de Micro Finance Soro Yiriwaso, avec qui elle a déjà eu 4 prêts tous remboursés.
Ce nouveau prêt lui permettra d’acheter 2 tonnes et demi de maïs. Elle s’approvisionne à Niena auprès des producteurs et dans les villages environnants. Les ventes sont faites au niveau du village de Niena. Sa clientèle est composée pour la plus part d’hommes.
Avec ce prêt, elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 45.000 FCFA par mois. Ce bénéfice lui permettra de faire face aux échéances de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.
Elle compte devenir un grossiste de bonne renommée.
