A loan of $1,500 helped to buy seed and farming chemicals to grow corn, five calves to fatten, and feed powder, concentrate, and medicine for his cattle and pigs.

José Ínes's story

José is 67 years old. He is married and has three children. He grows vegetables like squash. He lives only with his wife. He has been growing squash for fifty years, but he also plants corn and white beans. He also has four years of experience raising pigs and cattle. In order to buy farming supplies like poison, fertilizer and seed, as well as concentrate, feed powder, and medicine to feed the cattle, he travels 35 kilometers and pays for a vehicle to transport the merchandise. He will use the loan he is requesting from Fundación Campo to buy seed and farming chemicals to farm 7,000 square meters of corn. He will also purchase five calves to fatten, feed powder, concentrate, and medicine for the cattle and pigs. His other goal is to sell and buy cows in order to obtain better income.
