A loan of $1,000 helped to plant potatoes.

David's story

Señor David is 21 and makes a living in agriculture by planting a variety of vegetables as well as potatoes, yucca, and corn in his plot of land in the community of Pacay. This loan is his first cycle with the institution. Señor David works with his brother Elías who is also a customer of the institution. Both are farmers. He is going to use this loan to plant corn, which involves the preparation of the earth. His reason for applying for this loan is to obtain resources for planting and to be able to survive.

Señor David faces challenges in his business, like inclement weather, which on many occasions ruins his plants. He will use the profits to improve the quality of his life. Señor David is a responsible and hard-working person who feels grateful to the institution for their support.
