Adwoa's story

Adwoa is thirty-five years old. She is married with three children, ages 17, 13, and 8 respectively. She is a petty trader who supplies vegetables and spices such as tomatoes, cabbage, pepper, onion, etc, to food vendors and local restaurant operators. She obtains her supplies from the local farmers in the surrounding villages to sell to food vendors at a wholesale price.

Adwoa wants to use the loan for the sale of foods like plantain, cassava, maize, etc, and increase her income. She hopes to use part of her proceeds to finance her children’s education.

She belongs to the community group called, "God is Able Trust Group." In this group, group members assist one another to provide support in handling loan repayments.
