A loan of $500 helped to buy stucco and paint for repairing the walls of his home.

Luis's story

Luis is single and in a common-law relationship with his partner. They have two children who are of school age. Luis lives in his own home, which is a small apartment that has rooms made of brick plastered with stucco. The floors are made of wooden planks. His home is located in the District of Artesanos in the city of El Alto.

Luis currently works as a traveling salesman who markets industrial cleaning products. He receives a monthly salary. His wife works as a nanny and also earns a monthly salary. These jobs are the only ones they have by which to generate an income. Both of them are responsible for the family expenses, such as basic services.

The loan Luis is requesting will be used to buy stucco and paint for repairing the walls of his home. They have deteriorated, so making these repairs will improve his quality of life. Luis dreams of seeing his children become professionals so they also will have a better quality of life.

This is the first time he has requested a loan from IMPRO and Kiva.
