A loan of $1,000 helped to pay for medical expenses for her husband, who has a heart problem.

Corina's story

Corina is married with two children, who help their parents. They live in a family home, which is located in the area of San Sebastian in the city of La Paz.

Corina studied at a teachers' college and has a superior technical degree in educational sciences. In her career, she helped with classes at schools. She is currently dedicated to caring for her husband, who is in medical treatment for a heart disease. Corina works every day painting and embroidering fabric to help her husband. They both maintain themselves in terms of food, clothing, and basic services.

She needs this loan for her husband's medical treatment. He also makes a living painting fabric with tempera, which he sells in various offices in the city of La Paz.

Corina's dream is for her husband to recover from his illness. Her family's quality of life will then improve.

This is the first time that she has applied for a loan with IMPRO and Kiva.
