A loan of $675 helped a member to buy potatoes and beans to make snacks.

Soey's Group's story

Originally from a village in Battambang province’s Sangke district, Soey is 49 and married with two children, all of whom are dependents and still in school. For more than ten years, she has been selling snacks while her husband is a motor taxi driver to help his family. Soey has been a member of VisionFund for five cycles already and she wisely and successfully used the past loans to make her living conditions better. Now, she is leading her group to request another loan. As the leader, Soey will use her portion to buy potatoes and beans to make snacks. She hopes this loan will enable her to earn more income from her current business so as to improve her family’s lifestyle.
