Juliana's Group's story

Juliana is a thirty-four-year-old farmer and mother of six children. Her husband is also a farmer. Their agricultural business is negatively affected by drought and poor transportation to deliver goods to the market. Juliana is joining the KOMAZA microforestry program to earn money, conserve the soil from erosion, and change the environment. She intends to use the profits from her KOMAZA tree farm to educate her children, buy food for her family, and buy more land.
