A loan of $800 helped to buy amplifiers and structures for his mobile disc jockey business.

Wilsón Osiris's story

Wilson is 28 years old, single, and lives with his mother. He offers his services as a mobile disc jockey. At the moment, he is also working on a trial basis at a pharmacy.

Wilson started his disc jockey business two years ago. His brother lives in the United States and has managed his own disc jockey business for the past 10 years, so he encouraged Wilson to do the same.

He started out with audio equipment that was given to him by his brother. Wilson now buys his equipment in the city. He books events in the western part of the county and has become well-known among some of the major hotels. His loan will be invested in the purchase of amplifiers and structures so that he can expand his mobile disc jockey business.

With this investment, Wilson will be able to expand his capacity. He currently rents equipment or borrows it from a friend as needed. With this loan, he will buy another amplifier to improve his capacity without having to rely on borrowed equipment. He wants to build a larger structure and buy audio equipment so that he can host larger events without having to partner with other disc jockeys. When he plays smaller events, then he can use just half of his equipment. Wilson wants to have a mobile disc jockey business that is just as good or better than his brother’s.
