A loan of $250 helped to complete her nursing degree.

Christa's story

Her name is Christa and she’s 20-years-old. She’s a nursing student. She’s liked everything to do with health for as long as she can remember. She enjoys being with her family, attending church, eating healthy, to always learn from her mother, to have good friendships and share pleasant, long-lasting moments, to help the community, go to the library, watch scientific documentaries, to learn about health, to read and to stay true to her principles.

She’s decided to become involved in the health area both while in high school and after to learn what medicine was all about and this has helped her become even more committed to become an excellent professional and have a positive influence on society. Because of this, she’s decided to take more substantial steps and she’s conscious of the fact that she must attain her life goals regardless of how difficult it may be. Thanks to the positive influence her family has had on her she’s learned that great results can be obtained through effort and this is why she started a technical career that will provide the basic knowledge she’ll need when she starts her professional career and also to learn the extent of the commitment that will be required by society from a professional in the health field.

As she makes progress, she becomes aware that much effort is needed to attain her lofty dreams but as time has passed she’s been able to learn that if she gives the best of herself she’ll attain the highest positions she can aim for and thanks to the sure steps she’s taking she’s reminded daily that she must learn to be better today than she was yesterday and better tomorrow than she is today.
