Percilia's story

Percelia lives in Montserrado county, Sinkor. This is an area that is almost like the center of Monrovia. She is 28 years old, and lives together with her boyfriend and two children aged 8 and 12. Her children are attending school.

She has been running a table in the local market for the past eight years where she sells pepper, rice, palm oil, vita, onion, okra, etc. She uses the profits from her business for food and the rent for her house. She started this business with money from her boyfriend. She spends eight hours a day in her business, and enjoys the response she gets from her customers. She uses a taxi to get her goods to her table from the wholesale store.

She is requesting a loan to purchase more pepper, rice, palm oil, vita, onion, okra, etc for her business. Her plan is to own a car to use in her business.
