Jamalladin's story

Jamalladin is a 57-year-old man. He is married and has four children. He is farmer and has been raising seasonal fruits and vegetables for the last 26 years.

His primarily crops are fruits, which are very popular fresh and in juice. He chose this business because it is profitable, and fresh crops are in high demand. People use fresh vegetables every day and consider them healthy. Many national dishes, like pilau and dolma, are made from vegetables. Fresh fruits are served at every table in Azerbaijan families, and also are used to make fresh punch.

Jamalladin sells his crops in the bazaar. His monthly income is 100 AZN. His wife actively helps him to raise the crops.

As these products are in high demand, Jamalladin wants to expand his business and produce more fruits and vegetables to cover the market demand. For this purpose, he applied for 1,500 AZN. He will buy new garden tools, seeds and fertilizers.
